New Orleans Playground
Once again we sponsored the annual AAOS playground build. Every year since 2000, the AAOS has sponsored a volunteer build to kick-off its Annual Meeting, leaving behind a legacy of safe, accessible playgrounds to the host city so that children with and without disabilities can play safely together. On March 11, the first day of the AAOS 2014 Annual Meeting, orthopaedic surgeons, families and industry partners helped to build the Academy’s 15th all-volunteer-built playground for a deserving community in New Orleans. The build was orchestrated by KaBOOM! and AAOS. Alexandra’s Playground was thrilled to be a part of this initiative.
